Atomos Ninja TX 5.2" Camera to Cloud Monitor/Recorder

The Atomos Ninja TX is a completely redesigned 5.2" on-camera monitor and recorder that stays true to the classic Ninja line while introducing a host of powerful new features. Designed for seamless on-set performance, the Ninja TX now includes both 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 input/output, integrated Wi-Fi for cloud-based workflows, and a brighter 1500 cd/m² touchscreen. It supports up to 8K30 ProRes RAW recording, RF/Bluetooth timecode sync, CFexpress Type B or USB-C recording, and comes preloaded with support for all major codecs, including ProRes RAW, DNx, and H.265. A built-in NDI/HX3 license adds advanced live streaming and networking capabilities.

Brilliant 5.2" Touchscreen

The 1920 x 1080 resolution IPS display delivers vivid, accurate colors with HDR support and 1500 cd/m² brightness—ideal for daylight shooting. It features 8/10-bit color processing, Rec. 709 color gamut, and calibration compatibility with Calibrite ColorChecker Display Pro/Plus for precise color monitoring.

Modernized Operating System

The new Linux-based AtomOS brings a refreshed interface, better toolsets, and enhanced system efficiency—allowing for quieter, cooler operation and faster performance.

Built-In Wireless Connectivity

With AtomX Connect functionality now integrated, the Ninja TX enables direct Camera-to-Cloud (C2C) workflows. Seamlessly upload footage to ATOMOSphere, Adobe Frame.io, or Dropbox over Wi-Fi.

NDI/HX3 functionality is also included, allowing the Ninja TX to act as either an NDI source or receiver for high-quality, low-latency video streaming across your network.

AirGlu RF/Bluetooth timecode sync lets you wirelessly synchronize timecode across cameras, audio recorders, and other monitors—turning the Ninja TX into a central timecode hub.

Robust Color Management & Metadata Support

Compatible with log formats from Sony, Canon, RED, ARRI, Panasonic, Nikon, FUJIFILM, and JVC, the Ninja TX supports custom 3D LUT uploads and can output HDR formats including Log, HLG, PQ, and Dolby Vision. Metadata recording via HDMI input captures essential settings like ISO, white balance, shutter speed, and more.

Flexible I/O: 12G-SDI & HDMI

The HDMI input supports 8K at 30fps, 4K at 60fps, and 1080p at 120fps. Both HDMI and SDI support loop-through for passing signals to additional devices like transmitters or live stream encoders. The inclusion of 12G-SDI expands compatibility with a broader range of cameras and supports cross-conversion between HDMI and SDI.

High-Speed Recording & USB-C Flexibility

Record to CFexpress Type B media or dual USB-C ports with blazing-fast transfer speeds using PCIe and NVMe protocols. The USB-C ports also support monitor calibration, 3D LUT uploads, audio interfaces, and firmware updates.

Power Options

An L-series battery plate supports standard NP-F batteries. For studio setups, an optional battery eliminator allows for continuous DC power. Additionally, the USB-C port delivers up to 30W of PD charging.

Intuitive Controls

Easily operate the Ninja TX using the combination of physical buttons and touchscreen controls. Supported Canon and Sony cameras offer automatic HDMI triggering via Atomos Open Standard, while SDI triggers and LANC control are available with compatible devices. Remote control is also possible through AirGlu Bluetooth or RF connectivity.
