At just over an inch thick and weighing only 7 oz, the 907X is Hasselblad’s smallest and lightest medium format camera body ever made. Its minimalist design recalls the classic 500-series V-system while serving as a connector between the V interface of the CFV II 50C and the X-mount, allowing the use of XCD lenses or adapted optics from other Hasselblad systems.

The 907X is the heart of the system—an ultra-slim, lightweight body that links the CFV II 50C digital back with Hasselblad’s X-system lenses. It supports autofocus and leaf-shutter-enabled XCD lenses, as well as HC/HCD, V, and XPan lenses via optional adapters. The XCD mount further expands creative potential with access to wider focal lengths than were possible on classic V-system bodies.

50MP CMOS Sensor with Hasselblad Natural Color Solution
At its core, the CFV II 50C features a large 50MP 43.8 x 32.9mm CMOS sensor capable of capturing a 14-stop dynamic range and 16-bit color depth. Combined with Hasselblad’s Natural Color Solution (HNCS), it produces remarkably smooth tonal transitions, lifelike color accuracy, and film-like depth across all lighting conditions. The sensor offers an ISO range of 100–25600, ensuring excellent performance in both bright and low-light environments.
Beyond still photography, the CFV II 50C also records 2.7K and Full HD video at up to 29.97 fps using the full sensor width, providing beautifully detailed footage with the signature Hasselblad color profile. A 3.5mm microphone input allows for external audio recording.
Elegant Design and Intuitive Interface
The CFV II 50C is compatible with nearly every Hasselblad V-system camera made since 1957, as well as with technical and view cameras using a V interface. Its 3.2" 2.4m-dot tilting touchscreen LCD supports intuitive touch gestures, such as tap-to-focus and drag-and-drop AF point selection. The 60 fps refresh rate provides smooth, responsive viewing, and its tilting design mimics the waist-level shooting experience of Hasselblad’s classic film cameras.
The digital back’s internal lithium-ion battery maintains a sleek, self-contained form factor reminiscent of traditional A12 film backs, while dual UHS-II SD card slots ensure fast, reliable data handling.
