Compact Wireless Audio for Creators

Designed for solo content creators, vloggers, and mobile filmmakers, the Insta360 Mic Pro Wireless System is a compact and lightweight 2.4 GHz audio solution that connects to a wide range of cameras, smartphones, and other recording devices. The coin-style transmitter features a customizable 1.22" six-color E-Ink display for adding logos, images, or graphics through the Insta360 app. A camera-mount receiver with an integrated cold shoe, touchscreen, and control dial provides intuitive access to recording settings. The transmitter and receiver maintain a wireless connection from distances of up to 1312'.

32-Bit Float Onboard Recording

The transmitter features 32GB of internal storage for recording 32-bit float audio, providing a wide dynamic range and greater flexibility during post-production. An NPU-powered AI noise-cancellation chip helps reduce unwanted background sounds, while automatic gain control and a low-cut filter contribute to clean, consistent audio. Files can be quickly transferred to a computer or mobile device through USB-C.

Receiver with Integrated Controls

The included receiver mounts directly to a camera and features a touchscreen display and control dial for convenient adjustment of audio settings. Its 3.5mm TRS output connects to compatible cameras and recording devices, while the included USB-C adapter allows direct connection to a laptop or mobile device. A separately available Lightning adapter can expand compatibility with additional devices. The receiver supports two audio channels on its own, with optional accessories and built-in modes allowing up to four signals.

Multi-Camera and Multi-Person Recording

Multi-Person mode allows up to four transmitters to connect to the receiver, creating four synchronized and independent audio tracks. Multi-Cam mode enables up to four receivers to pair with a single transmitter for synchronized audio across multiple cameras. This feature requires the separately available Camera Adapter when used with compatible Sony cameras. Timecode synchronization is also supported for more efficient post-production workflows.

Customizable E-Ink Display

The transmitter's 1.22" six-color E-Ink display can showcase custom images, logos, and graphics for a personalized and professional appearance. Upload your preferred design directly through the Insta360 app.

Three-Microphone Array and Pickup Modes

A built-in three-microphone array provides flexible sound capture for different recording scenarios. Choose from three pickup patterns: supercardioid for solo streaming, ASMR, and voiceovers; figure-8 for interviews and two-person conversations; or omnidirectional for versatile audio capture. With a separately available USB-C to 3.5mm adapter, the transmitter can also connect to a lavalier microphone.

Automatic Gain and Voice Tone Control

Automatic gain control continuously adjusts recording levels based on vocal intensity, eliminating the need for constant manual adjustments. Two gain modes are available for different noise environments, while three voice tone presets—Standard, Rich, and Bright—allow you to tailor the character of recorded speech.

Direct Camera Connectivity

Bluetooth 5.4 allows the Mic Pro transmitter to connect directly to compatible Insta360 cameras, including the X5, Ace Pro 2, and GO Ultra. This enables high-quality 48 kHz audio recording directly to the camera while simplifying the overall production setup.

Extended Battery Life and Fast Charging

The transmitter provides up to 10 hours of battery life, while the receiver operates for up to 11 hours, supporting extended recording sessions with cameras, smartphones, and compatible Insta360 devices. A quick five-minute charge provides up to an additional 1.5 hours of operation, helping keep the system ready when time is limited.
