Pixel Connection offers software driven lens calibrations to tune your lenses to your camera for sharper images.

Why do I need a lens calibration?
DSLR's use a separate autofocus sensor for focusing the lens and the image is captured with the sensor at the back of your camera. Often times this results in slight differences and can lead to an image being back or front focused, even if your camera tells you your subject is in focus. Over 80% of DSLR's and lenses end up showing a noticeable improvement after being run through our calibration process.

Do I need a lens calibration if I have a mirrorless camera?
For the most part, no - but Nikon mirrorless cameras have the ability to be calibrated if you notice front/back focusing on your images.

Can my camera be calibrated?
Most Pro bodies and prosumer bodies from Canon and Nikon can be calibrated. For Canon, the 70D and higher models are able to be calibrated. For Nikon, all full frame models as well as APS-C cameras in the D7000/D500 range can be calibrated. All Nikon mirrorless cameras can be calibrated as well. If you're not sure where your camera falls, just give us a call!

How does the pricing work?
For calibrations, the base rate for the first camera body and lens is $69.99, and every additional lens calibrated to that body (at the same time) is $29.99. If you have 2 bodies and 3 lenses, it would be 69.99 + 29.99 + 29.99+ 29.99 multiplied by 2 (for 2 cameras).
