Profoto 1 x 4' Strip Softbox with White Interior
Profoto continues to grow its line of all-in-one quick-setup softboxes with the 1 x 4' Strip Softbox, now featuring a white interior for enhanced light softness. Unlike the previous silver version, the white inner surface offers greater diffusion and reduced contrast, ideal for clean, studio-style lighting. Designed with an integrated all-in-one mount, this softbox sets up in seconds with a convenient fold/unfold design. Built from durable, heat-resistant fabric, it also includes a built-in speed ring compatible with a wide range of Profoto lights, including ProHead and B10 models. A carry case is included for portability and protection.
White Interior for Soft, Even Illumination
The switch to a white inner surface creates a softer, more natural light output. Compared to silver interiors, the white lining diffuses light more evenly, minimizing harsh shadows and delivering studio-quality lighting wherever you shoot.
Elegant, Controlled Rim Lighting
Ideal for portrait, fashion, and product work, this 1 x 4' strip softbox excels as an edge or rim light, producing a long, defined highlight along subjects. It offers softer shadows along its long side and harder, shorter shadows along the narrow edge—perfect for sculpting shapes, enhancing contours, and separating your subject from the background. The removable and interchangeable diffusion fabric allows you to fine-tune light output to suit your needs.
Durable, Heat-Resistant Build
This classic modifier is made from high-grade, heat-resistant fabric, making it suitable for use with flashes or continuous halogen lighting up to 500W.
Seamless Compatibility
No extra speed ring is required—this strip softbox is ready to mount directly to all Profoto 100mm light heads, including the B10, B1, D1, D2, and ProHead series. With the addition of the OCF Adapter II (sold separately), it can also work with Profoto A-Series flashes.
Customizable with Add-On Accessories
This softbox remains fully compatible with existing accessories for Profoto’s silver models, such as:
- Optional diffusion kits
- Fabric softgrids to narrow the beam and limit light spill
