Product Description

The ProMaster 8018 is a straight audio cable that lets you connect a microphone or wireless receiver with a camera, camcorder, or similar device with small 2.5mm TRS jack.

While it is true that most cameras and camcorders use a 3.5mm TRS audio jack, there are some that use a smaller 2.5mm version instead. Some Fuji brand mirrorless cameras as well as some point-n-shoot cameras fall into this category. This can make it difficult to use many common types of microphones with these cameras. The ProMaster 8018 is a great solution to adapt any mic having a common 3.5mm TRS connection to a camera using the smaller 2.5mm connection.

Each end of this cable is terminated with a right angle connector. A small label is also applied near each end of the cable to identify its most common usage. One end is labeled "Microphone" and the other is labeled "Camera/Camcorder". The tips are gold-plated for protection against corrosion.

This cable is 1' long and straight (non-coiled).
